About

Gold Consulting

I work with small and medium-sized businesses and charities that have reached an inflection point. You have grown beyond the informal systems that served you well at the start, but you are not yet a rigid, corporate machine - and do not want to become one.

That in-between space is what I call the messy middle. It is the uncomfortable stretch where what used to work no longer does. Decisions take longer, information gets lost, and people feel stretched. It is not a failure - it is a sign of growth. My job is to help you find the right level of structure so you can keep moving forward with confidence.

Who I work with

Small and medium-sized teams doing meaningful work, ready to grow up without growing stiff.

Growing SMEs

Founder-led businesses ready to move beyond ad-hoc processes but wary of over-engineering.

Purpose-driven charities

Small and mid-sized charities balancing mission with the practical need for structure and sustainable ways of working.

A calm, practical approach

No rigid frameworks, no jargon. Just structured support that fits where you are today.

01

Diagnose

I start by understanding what is working, what is not, and where the friction is costing you most - in conversation with you and your team.

02

Co-create

I design solutions with your team, not for them - so changes stick and people feel ownership.

03

Embed

I work alongside you to turn new ways of working into habits, with clear documentation, training, and follow-through.

About Jo

Jo Goldberg

I am Jo Goldberg, the person behind Gold Consulting. I have spent years working alongside SMEs and charities - in-house and as a consultant - helping teams turn day-to-day chaos into calm, workable systems.

I love a good process, a clear conversation and a bit of gentle challenge, and I bring all three to every piece of work. My approach is practical and hands-on: I roll my sleeves up alongside your team rather than handing over a report and disappearing.

Clarity | Alignment | Progress

Three words that guide every piece of work I do.
